Age limit for the post of Security Officer
18-45, Only candidates born between 02.01.1976 and 01.01.2003 (both dates included) are eligible to apply for this post with usual relaxation to Scheduled Castes, Scheduled Tribes, and Other Backward Communities.

Note II: For concessions allowed in the upper age limit, subject to the condition that the maximum age limit shall in no case exceed 50 years, please see para (2) of the General Conditions under Part II of this Notification.
Qualifications for the post of Security Officer
1. A degree in any subject from a recognized university
2. Must be an Ex-serviceman and had retired from the rank of Captain or from a similar cadre in the Navy or Air Force.
